Bastion Security Services is currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards to join our growing team. Our security personnel play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ properties and personnel. Site assignments may vary, including but are not limited to apartment complexes, shopping centers, fire-watch posts, and construction sites.
This position is ideal for individuals who are vigilant, dependable, and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned sites on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of premises
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people
- Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies on-site
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, residents, and the public
- Perform fire-watch duties when required
- Observe and report safety hazards and unusual activity
- Remain alert and prepared to act in emergencies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued Security Guard License (Required)
- Powers to Arrest certificate (8-hour course)
- Valid Drivers License and clean drive record for sites that require driving
- Previous security experience preferred but not required
- Must be 18 years or older, 21 years or older to drive company car
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites
